The Washington Times used FOIA to obtain a National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) Inspector General's report revealing that the agency could not locate dozens of boxes of documents containing confidential and secret government files among the millions of boxes stored at the Washington National Records Center in Suitland, Maryland.

Notes:

The Washington Times noted that the missing boxes included four boxes of top-secret restricted files from the office of the secretary of defense, as well as records from a handful of U.S. Navy offices.
