Summary:

Twenty years after using FOIA to request documents about the Church of Scientology from the State Department, the requester is still waiting for the information, according to a study by the National Security Archives that finds delays plague the FOIA process. Twelve agencies had requests pending 10 years or more, and 10 agencies misreported their oldest FOIA requests in annual reports to Congress, the Archive found, and Associated Press reported.
