Summary:

The world outside the U.S. prison camp in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, got its first glimpse into the secret world of military tribunals through audio recordings obtained under FOIA. The military-made recordings, of tribunals held in the fall of 2004, were obtained by the lawyers for six detainees whose "enemy combatant" status was reviewed in the tribunals. The lawyers provided the tapes to National Public Radio which aired them.
